HumasUPNVJ - In the context of developing the academic quality of the State Islamic University (UIN) Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi paid a visit to UPN Veteran Jakarta, on Thursday 3 June 2021.

During his visit Prof. Dr. H. Su'aidi, MA., Ph.D. The Chancellor of UIN STS Jambi accompanied by his staff aims to carry out Benchmarking and signing of the MoU with UPNVJ as well as direct discussions with discussions about academic management and lecturer human resources.

UIN STS's visit was welcomed by the Chancellor of UPNVJ Erna Hernawati and her staff which was held in the Nusantara Meeting Room 1. In her warm remarks the Chancellor of UPNVJ expressed his pride that UIN STS could visit UPNVJ which apart from having many advantages also has a focus on religious knowledge.

Prof. Dr. H. Su'aidi also said that UIN Jambi was developing a new paradigm that had never existed at other universities. He also said that in 2022 there would be a change in the paradigm of transintegration between SCIENCE and RELIGION. He did this in order to produce religious scientists and scientific scholars.

In this discussion there was also an explanation of the academic field conducted from the two universities, apart from direct discussion UIN STS also had the opportunity to visit teaching and learning facilities owned by UPNVJ, one of which was the Mash Classroom which is an academic facility owned by UPNVJ.

With this visit, it is hoped that the two universities can complement each other and learn better things to improve the quality of each academic field.
