Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation at the Jakarta Veterans National Development University Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, Sp.KJ, MH said the 2021 New Student Campus Life Introduction (PKKMB) committee had prepared materials and events, both recorded and live which could be more interactive.

"Initially we planned that PKKMB 2021 would be carried out in a hybrid manner, but this was not possible due to the addition of Covid-19 cases and the government's policy of imposing restrictions on community activities," he explained.

Ria said the excitement of the offline PKKMB event was certainly different when compared to online events. However, he hopes that new students can still have fun and make lots of friends even though PKKMB is held online.

According to Ria, the committee had designed interesting materials and events by presenting speakers who could motivate new students. One of the speakers presented was an outstanding student from UPNVJ.

"These outstanding students are presented to provide motivation to new students that achievements can still be achieved even though they have to study online due to the Covid-19 pandemic," he said.

Ria said PKKMB 2021 would be filled with various activities, including various competitions with attractive prizes for new students.

The best works of new students, both in the form of writing and photos, will also be collected and published in book form.

"We hope that all new students will take part in this activity from start to finish. The material provided during the PKKMB will be useful during lectures and for other activities off campus," he said.
