UPNVJ BEM Holds Free Vaccination at Cinere Fresh Market

HumasUPNVJ - The Student Executive Board of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (BEM UPNVJ) held a Covid-19 vaccination activity using the Merdeka Vaccine at the Cinere Fresh Market, Tuesday (10/8/2021) in collaboration with the Depok Metro Police.

The committee provides 500 doses of vaccine. As many as 12 students from the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty were involved as vaccinators as well as screening and administration.

Head of Subunit Satlantas Polres Depok Metro Iptu Toni Widayat who was present at the vaccination activity said that the collaboration between the police and BEM UPNVJ aims to support the vaccination program held by the Indonesian government.

"The goal is to get more and more people vaccinated so that they are healthy and avoid Covid-19. If the people are healthy, then Indonesia will be strong," he said.

Toni said he appreciated UPNVJ students who carried out their humanitarian duties to support the vaccination program launched by the government.

"Collaboration between the campus and the police is very good. The community is greatly assisted through this activity," he said.

Toni guarantees that the implementation of vaccinations at the Cinere Fresh Market will continue to implement health protocols. The students who are the committee have arranged queue numbers with estimated vaccination times to prevent crowds
