HumasUPNVJ - After the change in status of UPN Veteran Jakarta, which was previously a Work Unit (Satker) to become a Public Service Agency (BLU) which prioritizes excellent, effective and efficient service. The UPNVJ Library launches new innovations with two new applications based on Windows and Android.
The applications launched are the Kubuku E-book application and the Android-based Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).
The two applications were officially launched online by UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Erna Hernawati Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP before the UPNVJ academic community who attended the zoom meeting for launching the library application on Friday (18/02/22).
"Everyone is moving together to improve services, the change in BLU status has one of the targets, namely to improve services better, faster and more efficiently. Thank God, the service improvement has been responded quickly to improve services, of course in digital form or with an application that adapts to current conditions," said the Chancellor in his remarks.
The Chancellor also revealed that the position of the library is something that is a priority and is the heart of the university.
"I also hope that all of us academics can take advantage of library services. Of course, services must continue to improve with the support of all parties. I also ask for joint prayers and work on UPT. The library has a big target, which is to have accreditation, hopefully it can run smoothly," added the Chancellor.
The Chancellor also said that socializing the existence of an application is an obligation of all work units which can be conveyed back to several internal and external parties.
