"We came here with the aim of planning to reopen the Textile study program at the Faculty of Engineering," said the Head of IKATEKS, Agus Muntarto.

UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Erna welcomed the arrival of IKATEKS, “Because previously there was an academy in the form of a textile study program, I think we can re-open this study program. The first thing we have to prepare is the Human Resources for this study program. In addition, there are things that need to be considered, such as the criteria for study programs. For the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, please change the HR criteria with the latest Rector's Decree. Because the proposal for this Textile study program has been processed before,” said the Chancellor.

UPNVJ Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Antar Venus also added that the requirements for the establishment of the study program were that 5 lecturers must be permanent lecturers with linear disciplines, "As directed by the Rector, it will be processed as soon as possible but what really needs to be paid attention to is qualified human resources, we need at least five permanent lecturers with linear disciplines,” added Venus.

This visit was followed by a discussion session.
