HumasUPNVJ - In order to increase the internationalization of Higher Education and realize the implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta strengthens the network of cooperation with various universities and related institutions abroad. As a form of implementation of these internationalization efforts, UPNVJ has communicated with the Indonesian Embassy in Dili, Timor Leste, which provided recommendations to explore opportunities for cooperation with Universidade Dili. Universidade Dili (UNDIL) is the oldest university located in the Dili area, Timor Leste.
As a follow-up to the cooperation plan, Dr. Arif Abdullah Sagran, as Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation at Universidade Dili will pay a visit to UPNVJ on Thursday (19/01) in order to hold a courtesy call with the Chancellor and his staff, as well as carry out the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and discuss the implementation of the cooperation program that located in Nusantara Meeting Room 1. This activity was carried out to strengthen the relationship between the two Universities and to open opportunities for cooperative relations between UPNVJ and various universities in the Timor Leste region.
UPNVJ's internationalization process with high commitment has so far been going well, one aspect of which is establishing international cooperation through MoUs with various universities and foreign institutions. This time it was his turn to build a cooperative relationship with Undil, "The presence of Undil leaders at UPNVJ is nothing but to expand cooperation between the two universities by signing the MoU. With the agreement that has just been signed, it is hoped that this will lay the foundation for both parties to immediately implement their concrete programs, which in turn will work together to achieve what is expected of the two universities.” Venus said in her speech after signing the MoU.
