HumasUPNVJ – Faculty of Law, Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) and the High Court of DKI Jakarta carried out the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Friday (17/03). PKS signed at the DKI Jakarta High Court regarding Legal Research, Education, Community Service and Student Development Related to the Free Learning Program and the Independent Campus.

The signing of the PKS is a follow-up to the hearings that were held before between the UPNVJ law faculty and the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office. The signing of the cooperation agreement was attended by the Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office Dr. Reda Reda Manthovani, Intel Assistant Setiawan Budi Cahyono, SH, MH, Aspidmil and Head of the TU Section for the High Prosecutor's Office Afni Carolina, SH, MH from the Faculty of Law UPN Veterans Jakarta. Abdul Halim, M.Ag, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation Heru Suyanto, SH, MH , Chair of the Taupiqqurrahman Law S-1 Study Program, SH, M.Kn, Secretary of the Law S-1 Study Program Rianda Dirkareshza, SH, MH and Head FH Laboratory, Dr. Slamet Tri Wahyudi, SH, MH.

The event began with remarks from the Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, Dr. Reda Manthovani, SH, LLM expressed his gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty of Law and his entourage, thanks also to member of Commission III of the Republic of Indonesia DPR Hinca Pandjaitan who witnessed this PKS. Reda Manthovani also said that by implementing this MCC it would support the exchange of information between the law faculty and the high prosecutor's office. As well as the implementation of student training and internships can be realized. it is hoped that this cooperation agreement will be implemented properly and produce human resources who always build the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Dr. Abdul Halim, M.Ag in his remarks expressed his gratitude to the head of the Jakarta High Court for being willing to accept the FH. This PKS is a gift for which we should be grateful, especially now that the Faculty of Law UPN Veterans Jakarta is implementing a massive MBKM program. UPN Veteran Jakarta Faculty of Law in 2023 implements full MBKM with an Odd NIM and Even NIM system. NIM Odd students carry out MBKM in the odd semester period, and NIM Even students carry out MBKM in the even semester period. Currently there are 132 NIM Even students who carry out internships organized by the Faculty of Law. Of course, with this PKS, it is a place for our students to gain knowledge at the High Court. Member of Commission III DPR RI Hinca Pandjaitan, who witnessed the MCC, welcomed the signing of this agreement. Furthermore, Hinca welcomes FH's plan to open a research center for the Attorney General's Office.

After the implementation of PKS, Reda Manthovani, Hinca Pandjaitan and Abdul Halim visited the apprentice students of Aspidsus, Aspidum and Asdatun Kejati. Members of commission III had a dialogue with students who were carrying out internships. The student apprentices explained that they had a lot of extraordinary experiences gained during their internships at the Jakarta High Court.

In a separate place, the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program Taupiqqurrahman, SH, M.Kn hopes that after the signing of the PKS, the NIM Odd S-1 Law students will be able to do internships at the High Prosecutor's Office with 5-10 students in August, the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.
