UPNVJ Initiates Collaboration with Universidade Federal De Santa Catarina

UPNVJ Public Relations – Continuing to increase the internationalization of the university, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) for the umpteenth time succeeded in getting international partners to work together. This time the collaboration was carried out with the Universidade Federal De Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil. The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out online via Zoom as well as offline at the Nusantara Meeting Room 1 (03/04).

The Indonesian Ambassador from the Indonesian Embassy - Brazil who was present at the signing of the MoU admitted that cooperation between Indonesia and Brazil was not only carried out in the political and economic fields but also developed in the field of education which was marked by the signing of the MoU between UPNVJ and UFSC located in Santa Catarina, Brazil as the second largest city of Indonesia's cooperation partners. It is hoped that through this collaboration Indonesia and Brazil can contribute to the international area.

Apart from being an internationalization effort, this collaboration was initiated in order to realize the university's vision to develop networks and partnerships both at home and abroad. The UPNVJ Chancellor hopes that UPNVJ and UFSC can collaborate well and make this collaboration a success by implementing several collaborative programs, such as lecturer and student mobility, joint research and publications , guest lectures , and working together in innovating other collaborative programs.

The UFSC Chancellor's response was very positive towards this activity. The man named Irineu Manoel de Souza welcomed the collaboration between UPNVJ and UFSC which he hoped would increase cooperation in the academic and research fields.
