HumasUPNVJ - From year to year, UPN Veteran Jakarta Public Relations works together with the New Student Admissions team to hold a Live Talk Show for the 2023 UPNVJ Independent Selection for undergraduate and diploma programs. This activity was carried out with the aim of providing clear and detailed information to all prospective applicants.
The UPNVJ 2023 Independent Selection Live Talk Show was held online through several platforms , including Zoom Meeting, Live Instagram, and Live Streaming YouTube by presenting Dudy Heryadi as UPNVJ Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Fajar Nugroho as UPNVJ Penmaru Coordinator as resource persons. The Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs conveyed important things that must be considered in the 2023 SEMA process, "The Jakarta Veterans National Development University Independent Selection, which we abbreviated as UPNVJ SEMA so that it is easy to remember. UPNVJ SEMA for 2023 there are a number of things that need to be considered, in UPNVJ SEMA it is always based on rules and also pays attention to recommendations from stakeholders . The rules used are Permendikbudriset No. 48 of 2022 concerning Admission of New Students for Diploma Programs and Undergraduate Programs at State Universities in which it regulates the complete implementation of independent selection, starting with setting quotas, information that needs to be prepared by and also provisions that need to be considered in carrying out independent selection. Apart from that, UPNVJ also pays attention to the recommendations by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) so that tertiary institutions prepare governance for new student admissions with transparency from before selection to the announcement of graduation, "explained Dudy
"This year's UPNVJ SEMA Registrants must still come from 2023 UTBK-SNBT Participants. This year there are 2 pathways for UPNVJ SEMA, namely the academic path and the achievement path. This year, apart from taking advantage of the UTBK results, the UPNVJ SEMA is also holding an exam, namely the state defense test which is carried out online. The State Defense Examination is carried out referring to the founding statutes of UPNVJ which is a state defense campus. Examination material includes Pancasila, national insight, citizenship, and state defense values with the hope that applicants who graduate will have a spirit of defending the country who understands aspects of defending the country. UPNVJ SEMA participants, please prepare for the state defense test well, add insight on state defense as well pay attention and prepare for the technical implementation of the exam," continued Dudy
Unlike the Penmaru Coordinator, Fajar Nugroho explained technical matters starting with registration provisions, registration stages, education costs, Institutional Development Contributions (SPI), quotas for each study program, technical implementation of state defense examinations, graduation criteria, important schedules, information regarding Indonesia Smart Card – College (KIPK) and Jakarta Smart Card (KJP).
The UPNVJ 2023 Independent Selection Live Talk Show activity was attended by approximately 200 participants, including teachers, grade 12 students, parents of students and UPNVJ employees.
