HumasUPNVJ – The results of the 2023 UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (SEMA UPNVJ) Independent Selection pathway for new students were announced on July 11 yesterday. There were 1114 prospective new students who passed the UPNVJ SEMA route. After being declared passed, prospective new students must follow the acceptance procedure as set by the university.
Just like accepting the SNBP and SNBT routes, SEMA participants who are declared to have passed are required to take a health test and free narcotics and dangerous drugs/drugs tests which will be held by UPNVJ according to the schedule, namely today, Wednesday, July 12 2023. The test will be held in the building UPNVJ Medical Education and Research Center (MERCe) Lt. 3 and 4, UPNVJ Limo Campus, Depok.
The implementation of this medical test is basically specifically for prospective new students of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Pharmacy study programs. The aim is to check whether the participant has color blindness or not. This is of course very important to know considering the chosen study program.
Meanwhile, free tests for narcotics and dangerous drugs/substances are intended for all study programs without exception. As the name implies, this test aims to detect the presence of narcotics and dangerous drugs/substances in the participant's body. Examination is carried out through a urine test which includes examination of 6 parameters, including Amphetamine (AMP ) , Morphine / Opiate (MOP), Marijuana (THC), Coccaine (COC), Methamphetamine ( MET ), and Benzodiazepine (BZD).
Preparations for the implementation of these two tests have been carried out since the announcement of Batch 1 SEMA graduation. The preparations made related to the location, test kits, including staff. Basically the implementation mechanism is still the same as before. After the announcement of graduation, the committee has disseminated information about this test either through UPNVJ's social media or on the penmaru.upnvj.ac.id page and even on the graduation announcement itself.
Basically the implementation mechanism is still the same. But this time, Fajar Nugroho as the Coordinator of New Student Admissions (Penmaru) UPNVJ reminded and emphasized participants after the test and already had the form of inspection results to immediately upload it on the registration.upnvj.ac.id page. The committee will first validate the files so that participants can make payment of tuition fees (UKT and SPI).
From 08.00 to 16.00 WIB, the implementation went smoothly as expected and there were no serious problems. It's just that there are still some participants who come to the location with the condition that they have not done online registration and payment for the test as already informed. Even so, the officers there swiftly serve and help with these problems with clear directions.
Regarding the implementation of these two tests, Fajar conveyed his message to the participants. He appealed to always be active and thorough in reading the information submitted by the university. Fajar also reminded again to immediately upload the test results on the specified page.
"For the independent route, especially for medical tests, we have actually conveyed all the information on the website penmaru.upnvj.ac.id and we have also posted it on UPNVJ's official social media. It is quite complete, please read the flow again, the provisions that must be known, the schedule, so that there are no delays in carrying out the medical test. And we also urge participants who have taken this medical test to immediately upload their health test results to the registration.upnvj.ac.id page because after that the committee will first validate it and then new participants can pay for the UKT and SPI that were previously announced. ” Said to the public relations team.
The implementation of medical tests and free tests for narcotics and dangerous drugs/drugs involved quite a number of officers, totaling 26 people with details of: 1) facilities and infrastructure team totaling 12 people, 2) health workers 9 people, and 3) doctors 5 people.
