The 5th NCOLS Presents the Chairman of the Indonesian MPR, Bambang Soesatyo as Keynote Speaker

HumasUPNVJ - The 5th National Conference on Law Studies (NCOLS) at the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) became even more special with the presence of the Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI), Dr. H. Bambang Soesatyo, SE, MBA This event succeeded in attracting attention with 113 manuscript articles from speakers and participants from various universities in Indonesia. Apart from that, the inspirational speech from Bambang Soesatyo, who is also one of the influential government figures in Indonesia, was the main highlight of the event.

The theme of the seminar raised at this event was "Public Participation in Realizing Indonesia's Welfare State (Welfare State). The event was opened with a speech from Dr. Anter Venus, MA, as Chancellor of UPNVJ. Apart from Bambang Soesatyo, several great speakers were also present to speak at this event, including Prof. Dr. Bambang Waluyo, SH, MH, and Prof. Dr. Wicipto Setiadi, SH, MH, as UPNVJ Law Faculty Professor, and Prof. Dr. Rahayu Hartini, SH, M.Sc., M.Hum., Professor of Business Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, and Dr. Narendra Jatna, SH, LLM., Head of the Bali High Court.

In his speech, Bambang Soesatyo expressed his views on the theme of the seminar, "Public Participation in Realizing Indonesia's Welfare State". He highlighted the important role of society in building a welfare state based on social justice for all Indonesian people. According to him, realizing a welfare state is not an easy matter, and it requires hard work and active participation from all elements of society.

Bambang Soesatyo also underlined that law enforcement must be a shared responsibility, not just the duty of government officials. He invited the public to be more active and involved in the judicial process in order to achieve more inclusive justice. In this context, Bambang Soesatyo emphasizes the importance of consistency in implementing the Constitution (UUD) and prioritizing aspects of social justice.

With the presence of Bambang Soesatyo as Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly at the 5th NCOLS event, seminar participants and the entire UPNVJ academic community had a rare opportunity to hear ideas and views from a state figure who had significant experience and influence. His presence at this event provided new inspiration and enthusiasm in implementing the values of justice and public participation in the world of law.

It is hoped that through this event, the spirit of community participation in building a welfare state will grow and develop, and active contributions from various parties can bring positive changes to Indonesia towards a brighter future. Bambang Soesatyo's concern for the role of law and community participation inspired all seminar participants to commit to realizing the vision of an inclusive and just rule of law state in building a welfare state.
