HumasUPNVJ - On the second day of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) training, Fondation De L'academie De Medicine (FAM) France began to provide a first-hand description of how the HEMS process performs emergency actions through documentation.
Ralph Setz, HEMS technical and operational expert (HEMS expert) explained how the process of handling emergency conditions by helicopter starts from the helicopter cleaning protocol, the evacuation process both under normal circumstances and during the Covid-19 pandemic some time ago.
Based on the monitoring results of the PR team, 165 training participants who attended offline and approximately 80 participants who attended online via Zoom were shown how HEMS works when they go into the field through footage shown at the MERce Building (Medical Education and Research Center) UPNVJ Limo Campus, on Wednesday (06/09/23).
After the coffee break, the activity was continued with Dr Sandra Lantelme's presentation on intervention specialization (maritime). On several occasions the participants were also welcome to conduct question and answer directly to the trainer from FAM.
To avoid misunderstandings, the participants were also provided with a headphone translator system which made it easier for the participants to understand the explanations from the trainers who used English.
