Public Relations UPNVJ - As a form of implementation of National Defense in terms of discipline and commitment, the Jakarta Veteran Development University (UPNVJ) again held a flag ceremony which was attended by students, lecturers, teaching staff and university and faculty leaders.
"This is the first ceremony we will hold in 2024. We hope that this activity will not just become routine, but can continue to strengthen our sense of nationalism, strengthening our commitment to implementing the values of defending the country. "In particular, the value of national and state awareness, belief in the Pancasila ideology and the value of being willing to sacrifice for the nation," explained Prof. Prasetyo Hadi as the ceremony supervisor reading the Chancellor's remarks, Wednesday (17/01/24).
On this occasion Prof. Prasetyo also said that throughout 2023 until December, veteran UPN Jakarta students had received 578 achievements, with 429 achievements at the National level and 149 achievements at the International level.
Not only that, in his speech he also said that regarding student affairs, in 2024 UPNVJ will accept 48 exchange students from 29 universities throughout Indonesia. This has increased from 2023, which received overseas exchange students, totaling 19 students.
In terms of institutions, UPNVJ Public Relations has achieved the title of 2nd Place in the Media category at the 2023 Diktiristek Public Relations Award which was announced last December, as well as obtaining the achievement as a Public Institution with a "Predicate Towards Informativeness" from the Public Information Commission.
"This achievement is clear evidence of UPNVJ's dedication and commitment in presenting quality and relevant information to the community," concluded Prof. Prasetyo.
It didn't stop there, encouraging news also came from the university which succeeded in obtaining International Accreditation from the FIBAA Accreditation Institute based in Bonn (Germany).
There are 10 (Ten) Study Programs at UPNVJ that have succeeded in obtaining International Accredited status for the period September 2023 to September 2028. The 10 study programs are Bachelor of Management; S1 Accounting; S1 Sharia Economics; Bachelor of Development Economics; Bachelor of Information Systems; S1 Informatics; Bachelor of Communication Science; Bachelor of International Relations; Bachelor of Political Science; and Bachelor of Laws.
"By obtaining this international accreditation, the academic community of lecturers and education staff are expected to continue to make continuous improvements in the Tridharma of Higher Education," he explained.
With a series of achievements and good news delivered at the beginning of this year, the Chancellor promised that the academic community could continue to transform to achieve excellence.
"It takes determination and cooperation between all of us to do our best for the progress of our campus, developing our campus to become one of the best campuses in the country."
