UPNVJ Public Relations Returns to Attend Edufair Expo SMA IT AL MADINAH

Public RelationsUPNVJ - The process of accepting new students (penmaru) is getting closer. Many schools in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi and surrounding areas hold Education Fair (Edufair) activities in the school environment, not only in the Jabodetabek area but also outside Jabodetabek. Judging from the many invitations for socialization and school visits that UPNVJ public relations received, one of them was an invitation from Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic High School, Cibinong Bogor.

Similar to 2023, this year Al-Madinah IT High School is again holding the 2024 Education Fair with the theme "Bringing You To The Future" and again inviting UPNVJ public relations as one of the representatives of State Universities (PTN) to be a resource person at this year's edufair .

Disa Prihantini, representing UPNVJ public relations, was a resource person alongside public relations at the University of Indonesia, IPB University and Jakarta State University. Not only was Disa representing UPNVJ public relations, Safira Hairulnisah and Reyhan Mahendra were also present.

Slightly different from last year, SMA IT Al Madinah packaged the presentation session with a panel discussion. In this discussion, Disa explained the pattern of new student admissions at UPNVJ , apart from that, Disa explained more clearly about the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka curriculum policies which had been implemented by UPNVJ , "Talking about the Merdeka Campus curriculum or Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka , as we already know, the Independent Learning - Independent Campus (MBKM) policy was launched by the Minister of Education and Culture through the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards, on Learning Process Standards, especially in articles 15 and 18 "This is all about ensuring that students are not stuck in the same major for years, so it is easier for them to assimilate in various educational studies," explained Disa Prihantini.

"We also need to convey that our campus, UPNVJ , of course always follows the policies and regulations provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture. For example, in this year's regulations & policies, in accordance with Permendikbudristek No. 62 of 2023: If you have passed the 2024 SNBP, it means you can no longer register for the SNBT and Mandiri selection routes from all PTNs in Indonesia. "And for students who have been declared to have passed SNBT-UTBK 2024 and have re-registered, they cannot take part in the independent selection from all PTNs in Indonesia," continued Disa.

"We give students the freedom to determine their future with various MBKM policies. Among other things, we have implemented Independent Student Exchange (PMM inbound or outbound) and now we have batch 4. Apart from that, we also of course implement Certified Internships, Independent Studies, Teaching Campuses, Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), Village Building (Thematic KKN), Humanitarian, Research or Research Projects. "And according to the information we received from the Head of the UPNVJ MBKM Center, we have also facilitated a Final Assignment as a substitute for a Thesis," said Disa in more detail.

Hani Rohani, Principal of Al-Madinah IT High School, was happy because UPNVJ again took the time to attend every activity of Al-Madinah IT High School from year to year, he said when met by UPNVJ Public Relations at the end of the event.

The activity took place in the Aysha Auditorium, and was attended by approximately 200 participants including: teachers, middle and high school students and parents.
