Public Relations UPNVJ - In Law Number 12 of 2012 Article 14 it is stated that the development of students' interests, talents and reasoning is carried out through co-curricular activities as activities to support the educational process, and extra-curricular activities as activities carried out through student organizations. In article 77 it is stated that student organizations are intra-university organizations, and receive legality from the university leadership.

The development of Ormawa and UKM activities is an activity that must be carried out by state and private universities and is the responsibility of university leaders. Thus, it is not justified if Ormawa activities are carried out without an adequate guidance, mentoring and supervision process from higher education institutions. Universities are expected to develop Ormawa activities in accordance with the objectives of student development and avoid irresponsible guidance such as forms of hazing, reprimanding, and other forms of uneducative guidance. Student development and all activities on campus must also be free from intolerance, bullying, sexual harassment, physical and/or psychological violence and other reprehensible behavior.

In connection with this, the Student Affairs Division of the AKPK Bureau is tasked with providing interest, talent, reasoning and welfare services for UPN "Veteran" Jakarta students as stated in the Organization and Work Procedures of the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University Number 41 of 2015 Article 15 Point E .

One of the AKPK Bureau's Student Affairs work programs related to this task is the Inauguration of the Chair of the University Level Student Organization which was held face to face on Thursday, January 11 2024 at the UPNVJ Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium and was attended by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation, the Head AKPK Bureau, Deans, Deputy Deans and Supervisors.

Anter Venus in his speech hoped that the heads of the ormawa who were inaugurated would be able to carry out their mandate in accordance with the vision and mission of the universities and ormawa they lead, "I hope that with the inauguration of all of you, you will be able to become leaders who are trustworthy and wise in managing the organization that you lead following the vision the mission of the university and the vision and mission of each of your organizations. "We hope that communication will run both ways between the university and student organizations within UPNVJ," said Venus

The number of participants appointed was 27 people consisting of: 1 (one) Chair of the MPM, 1 (one) Chair of the University BEM, 23 (twenty three) Chairs of the University Student Activity Unit and 2 (two) Chairs of the University Scholarship Forum. The number of Ormawa that have not been able to be appointed is 4 (four) because they have not sent their 2024 management composition by the specified deadline, namely: Football UKM, Protocol UKM, Content Creator Club UKM and Veteran Conference UKM .

Currently, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta has 31 Student Organizations , consisting of: MPM University (1), BEM University (1), UKM (27). There are 2 UKMs which are on hiatus because they have not had management since 2023, namely UKM Content Creator Club and UKM Veterans Conference and Scholarship Forum (2) .
