UPNVJ Facilitates UKT Adjustments for 35 Prospective Students Passing SNBP 2024

Public Relations UPNVJ - The announcement of the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) was completed on March 26 2024. There are hundreds of prospective students who have passed this route at the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ).

However, based on data from the new student admissions department, there are 35 people who have not re-registered until this month.

In connection with this, UPNVJ Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Henry Binsar provided directions to confirm what actually happened to the 35 individuals.

"If there are financial constraints, try asking how much you can afford for the UKT, then we will facilitate changes to the UKT," said Henry at a meeting at UPNVJ Pondok Labu, recently.

There were eight prospective new students who were registered for the reason that they had no fees so they did not re-register, and this could be facilitated by UPNVJ.

"Thank God, we have contacted 35 people, then we have facilitated 8 people according to their UKT capabilities. The rest withdrew for their own reasons. Some were accepted at other universities and so on," said Fajar Nugroho as UPNVJ New Student Admissions Coordinator.

One of those who received facilities from UPNVJ was Marcella Lopes Dethan from Hanemasin, Alkani Village, Malaka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province. He admitted that he was happy and couldn't believe he would be accepted into UPNVJ.

"My first feeling when contacted by UPNVJ Public Relations was shock. I didn't expect to be able to accept this policy. At first I thought this was a scam, and how could UPNVJ on such a big campus give policies to me from the lower classes," said Marsella

"I was also surprised that UPNVJ Public Relations contacted me to tell me about the UKT policy, and I chose the UKT myself that was acceptable. Everything was like a dream," said Marsella.

"It may be my destiny to be at UPNVJ, and I am happy to be able to continue my education at UPNVJ. It's like a dream for me to be able to get this policy," he continued.

Marsella admitted that she was sad when her parents were not allowed to go to college because of financial constraints.

"When my parents said to look for another campus because my mother and father couldn't afford a UKT that big, I was heartbroken and cried. But God is good. I was contacted by UPNVJ Public Relations and given this policy. Everything was like a dream," concluded Marsella.
