UPNVJ Chancellor Welcomes International Partners from Australia National University to Discuss Deepening Cooperation

UPNVJ Public Relations – The Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) was accompanied by the Chair of the UPNVJ LPPM, Sri Lestari Wahyoeningrum, P.hD., and the Head of the UPNVJ International Affairs Office (KUI), Dr. Bambang Susanto, MA received a visit from Prof. Robert Cribb from Australia National University (hereinafter abbreviated as ANU) last Thursday (25/01).

In this meeting, the two universities discussed expanding their cooperation in research and other fields.

UPNV Chancellor, Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm stated that UPNVJ was interested in continuing and even deepening relations with ANU.

“Thank you for coming to our university. We are very pleased to continue and deepen this relationship with Australia National University. This collaboration provides a great opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, experience and resources between the two institutions.” Venus said in Indonesian to Robert, who was also fluent in Indonesian.

On this occasion, Venus congratulated that the research process from the Australian Research Council had finally begun. Hopefully everything goes smoothly to completion and contributes to science.

Responding to the UPNVJ Chancellor's remarks, representing ANU, Prof. Robert expressed his willingness to collaborate more broadly with UPNVJ, "In order to realize the joint commitment of both universities to increase our contribution to research and discoveries that are beneficial to global society."

Prof. Robert believes that the synergy between the expertise of each university will create significant added value.

Apart from research, it is hoped that the collaboration that has been established can be expanded to other fields that can support higher education tri dharma activities such as student exchanges, guest lecturers, and even holding joint international conferences.

The collaboration established with ANU is a big step for UPNVJ to achieve the university's vision as an international quality university that is innovative, competitive and has an identity in the development of Indonesian society.

Likewise, UPNVJ's mission is to develop networks and partnerships in Indonesia and abroad.

UPNVJ is currently heading towards becoming a superior university, not only at the national but also international level.

Therefore, we are currently working towards being recognized in the QS world rankings. We sent contacts to our partners on international campuses, including Prof. Robert. Thank you Prof. Robert for the response to the QS team's assessment.

As a university that is seeking recognition in the QS world rankings, support from partners at international universities such as ANU is of course very important to improve the progress of education, research and community service.
