UPNVJ and University of Queensland Establish Global Research Collaboration

Public RelationsUPNVJ – In an effort to expand research networks and advance shared knowledge, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) is proud to initiate cross-border collaboration with the University of Queensland, a quality university in Brisbane, Australia.

On Thursday (25/01), UPNVJ Chancellor, Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm accompanied by the Head of the UPNVJ LPPM, Sri Lestari Wahyoeningrum, P.hD., and the Head of the UPNVJ International Affairs Office (KUI), Dr. Bambang Susanto, MA welcomed the presence of one of the lecturers representing the University of Queensland, Dr. Annie Pohlman.

UPNVJ is currently heading towards becoming a superior university, not only at the national but also international level. Therefore, it is currently working to be recognized in the QS world rankings. UPNVJ strives to build and establish relationships with our partners on international campuses, including Dr. Annie.

As a university that is seeking recognition in the QS world rankings, support from partners at international universities such as the University of Queensland is of course very important to improve the progress of education, research and community service.

Venus really appreciates the willingness of the University of Queensland, especially Dr. Annie to create a collaborative research activity.

For Venus, this collaboration opens the door to access to the latest knowledge and research methods available in various parts of the world. By sharing resources and strong collaboration, Venus is confident it can achieve significant scientific breakthroughs.

Meanwhile Dr. Annie considers this collaboration not only about exchanging data and findings, but also about building bridges between cultures and forming mutual understanding. This is a positive step in solving global challenges through a holistic approach.

The cooperation agreed to be carried out will be followed up further by signing a memorandum of understanding which will be implemented in the future.

The seriousness of this collaboration is expected to not only cover the research field but also include a number of initiatives such as joint international conferences, seminars, guest lecturers, student exchanges, and doctoral program study proposal consultations at foreign universities, as well as other collaborative activities.
