UPNVJ Lecturer Becomes Speaker at Lobachevsky University International Conference

Public Relations UPNVJ - The Lobacevsky University Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship from Russia is holding the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference on February 14 2024.

With the theme "Socio-economic Prerequisites and Results of the Development of New Technologies in the Modern Economy," the conference was held in a hybrid manner at 14.00 Nizhny Novgorod time, Russia.

The conference invited scientists from well-known institutions, including the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus; Brest State Technical University, Metropolitan University, Belgrade, Serbia; Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ); Moscow State University, Russia; St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Russia; Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Russia; Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after. Fevzi Yakubov, Crimean Federal University, Russia; Russian Economic University named after. GV Plekhanov, Russia.

Representing UPNVJ, lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Dr. Munadhil Abdul Muqsith, MIKom, Ph.D presented a paper entitled The Rise of the Digital Society in Indonesia.

"As a country that is still at the 'Consumptive Digital' level, there are still many challenges and opportunities to become a developed country. I hope that through the 2024 elections, the elected presidential candidate can push Indonesia to become a superior nation, especially in the fields of innovation and technology," said Munadhil. is also the Chair of the Communication Science Department and Chair of the UPNVJ Communication Science Master's Study Program.

Apart from Dr Muadhil, there were a number of other scientists who presented at the conference, including Head of the Department of World Economy, Marketing and Investment Andrei Gennadievich Prorovsky who delivered a report on "Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus in the Context of External Risk."

The conference participants presented research results on current problems in the field of socio-economic development that have high social significance within the framework of international and inter-regional scientific cooperation. (*wit/PRUPNVJ)
