The PMM Program is not just about academics, but learning to get out of your comfort zone

Public Relations UPNVJ – The Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University Independent Student Exchange Program class 4 (PMM UPNVJ) has entered its initial phase. 49 PMM 4 UPNVJ students were present in Jakarta from various campuses in Indonesia.

Apart from coming independently without being accompanied by relatives, there were several PMM 4 UPNVJ students who also left accompanied by their parents.

One of them, Inayah Puteri Salsabila from Sam Ratulangi University, came with her beloved mother. UPNVJ Public Relations had the opportunity to conduct a direct interview with Mrs. Dewi, Inayah's mother. (8/1)

In a short interview with Public Relations, Mrs. Dewi said that Inayah had chosen UPNVJ from the start, "My child chose UPNVJ from the start, when he was declared to have passed the PMM program, I was very grateful. Because I think this PMM program is extraordinary, it teaches our children not only academically but also mentally because they are studying outside their comfort zone, in different regions, far from their families. "I also accompanied my child at the beginning, but later he had to be independent while studying for one semester at UPNVJ," said Dewi.

"I hope that Inayah and her friends will be able to adapt well with their 48 other friends, especially with friends who come from different campuses," concluded Dewi at the end of her interview.

The welcoming activity for fellow PMM UPNVJ class 4 students was carried out in the UPNVJ Integrated Services Unit room and was also filled with health screening (checks) by the UPNVJ health team (doctors).
