Public Relations UPNVJ - Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University (UPNVJ) this year is again the venue for the National Selection Based Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK-SNBT).

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus, ST, MT said that all preparations regarding exam facilities must be completed in the next two weeks.

"The number of our computer units must be ready within the next two weeks if we look at the implementation which is close. Last year's participants' proposals will be fulfilled immediately this year as our improvement," stressed Henry in a coordination meeting in Nusantara Room 1, UPNVJ's Pondok Labu Campus on Wednesday ( 03/19/24).

Fajar Nugroho S.Kom., MP, UPNVJ New Student Admissions Coordinator, in his report said that the number of UTBK-SNBT participants and facilities had increased this year.

"This year, we prepared 830 computer units and the total participant capacity reached 23,240. The increase in participants was 840 people," said Fajar.

In 2023, UPNVJ will only prepare 800 computer units with a total of 22,400 participants.

Still in the coordination meeting, various important technical matters were also discussed, including the electricity capacity that must be prepared to avoid undesirable things.

"I ask for data, both regarding electrical power and computer units, so that we can check together the adequacy of electrical power. Coordinate this also with the local PLN," said Henry.

Currently, UPNVJ continues to make preparations and coordinate with a number of parties ahead of the UTBK-SNBT implementation time which is not far away, including the Sector Police.

Based on information on the website of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology https://snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id/, the 2024 UTBK-SNBT will be implemented in two waves. The first wave will be on 30 April 2024 and 2-7 May 2024, while the second wave will be on 14-20 May 2024.
