Public RelationsUPNVJ - Faculty of Law, National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Hunkuk University Law School from South Korea on Thursday, May 25 2024.

The signing of the MoA was carried out as a follow-up to the visit of professors and research by UPNVJ Master of Law lecturers to South Korea.

"The planned topic that will be researched is related to the comparison of the authority of the South Korean Constitutional Court (MK) and the Indonesian Constitutional Court, where there is a right to complain from the MK in South Korea which the Indonesian MK does not have," said the Dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Law, Dr. Suherman who signed the MoA with Hunkuk University.

In his report, Suherman also explained that the agreement was not only related to cooperation, but also included discussions regarding the development of civil law in South Korea and Indonesia, which was followed up by the signing of the Implementation Agreement (IA).

"I hope that in the future our faculty can learn more deeply about the laws and authorities that apply there, and can filter out which ones might be applicable in our country," said Suherman.
