UKM Tarung Derajat UPNVJ Successfully Wins Gold and Silver Medals

 

Public Relations of UPNVJ - Proud news has again come from the Tarung Derajat Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta which has won two medals in the Tarung Derajat Boxing and Free Fighting Championship held at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta and Griya Anabatic, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang.

In this event, UKM Tarung Derajat UPNVJ won one gold medal for the Men's Amateur Boxing category won by Muhammad Albar Yudistyo, a student of the Faculty of Law and one Silver Medal for Women's Free Fight won by Salma Humaira Irwan, a student of Informatics Engineering. Both were announced as winners in the final agenda delivered on August 11.

In his report, Muhammad Albar Yudistyo, who is also the Head of UKM Tarung Derajat, said that the main motivation in achieving this victory was not only to bring honor to the name of UPNVJ, but also to make parents and family proud and to achieve achievements according to their interests and talents.

"My own motivation is to make my parents and family proud, and also to make UPN Veteran Jakarta proud by achieving achievements according to my hobbies and talents, namely in the field of martial arts," said Albar.

Albar also hopes that in the future he can provide the best for UPNVJ.

"My hope for the future is that I will be even better and try to increase and never get tired of making achievements for UPN Veteran Jakarta," Albar hoped.
