UPNVJ's New Achievement: QS WUR Ranking 901+ in Asia and 169 in Southeast Asia

HumasUPNVJ - A proud achievement was achieved by Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta which continues to encourage efforts to increase internationalization. In early November 2024, the QS World University Ranking UPNVJ managed to reach 901+ for the Asian level, and 169 for the Southeast Asian region.

UPNVJ Rector Anter Venus welcomed this latest achievement, which is the result of the hard work of the entire UPNVJ academic community in increasing internationalization.

This QS WUR ranking is one of 9 UPNVJ internationalization programs:

- International Cooperation
- Joint/Dual Degree
- Student and Lecturer Exchange
- Joint Research, Publication and Conference
- UPNVJ Journal Indexing by Scopus/WoS
- International Certification
- Internationalization of Institutional Media
- Webometric Ranking, QS World University Ranking and THE WUR

"The effort to position UPNVJ in the 901+ Asia ranking was achieved with great struggle, and thank God we are united in meeting the set target," said Venus.

The Chancellor of UPNVJ expressed his gratitude to all academicians involved in increasing this internationalization, who have been “committed to continuing to advance UPNVJ.”

"Thank you to all parties whose thoughts, hearts, words and energy are used to build and maintain the good name of UPNVJ," said Venus.

Not being complacent, UPNVJ will make this latest achievement in the QS World University Rankings as a “starting point” towards further internationalization improvements.

"Moving forward, we will continue to improve our ranking," concluded Venus.
