UPNVJ Chancellor Closes Annual Meeting of West BKS-PTN Chancellor Forum

Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Chancellor of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta ( UPNVJ ), Anter Venus, who also serves as Deputy Chair of the West Region PTN Cooperation Agency Chancellor Forum, officially closed the 45th annual meeting of the West PTN BKS forum which took place dynamically at the Syiah Kuala University campus - Banda Aceh, on Tuesday (3/12).

In her closing speech representing the Head of BKS PTN Barat, Venus expressed her appreciation for the achievements that have been obtained, strengthening research cooperation, increasing student mobility, and developing a curriculum that is more adaptive to technological and industrial developments. Not only that, there were several things that were discussed and discussed together starting from the submission of attachments to the head of the field of science, the head of the forum, to the election of the head of BKS PTN Barat for the 2024-2026 period.

By acclamation, it has also been agreed that Prof. Dr. Marwan, Chancellor of Syiah Kuala University, will be the elected chairman who will effectively start working in February 2025.

The Rector of UPNVJ expressed his gratitude to the Rector of USK as the host, all the committee members, and the participants who enthusiastically carried out this annual meeting. Venus also hopes that all input, feedback, and commitment to strengthening in the field of international and industrial cooperation, strengthening the quality assurance system, improving the quality and accreditation of journals in each campus can be carried out with full commitment and collaborative spirit.

This annual meeting also serves as a forum for discussion on various current issues in the world of higher education, such as digitalization of learning, autonomy of higher education institutions, and strengthening the vocational education system.
