Public RelationsUPNVJ - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) together with the Research Synergy Foundation (RSF) in collaboration with the Center for Sustainable and Strategic Development Studies (PUSKA SSUD) held an international event entitled Jakarta International Conference on Research Innovation and Sustainable Development (JICRISD) 2024 with the theme, "Localizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Developing Co "The Rise of Natural Resources Industrial Policy, Political Ecology, and Sustainable Development in ASEAN . This International Conference has been held routinely every year and is fully supported by various parties including: ReviewerTrack, Research Synergy Institute, Research Synergy Press, Global Research Community, and F1000Research which was held in a hybrid manner, online via the zoom meeting platform and face-to-face at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium UPNVJ which was attended by more than 200 participants consisting of UPNVJ academics and the general public. The conference aims to be a global platform for researchers, academics, practitioners and professionals to discuss and share knowledge on research innovation and sustainable development in various fields.
JICRISD 2024 covers a wide range of topics relevant to global issues such as climate change, green economy, innovative technologies, public policies, and social challenges affecting sustainable development. The conference is expected to encourage collaboration between countries and sectors in finding innovative solutions that can be applied in both global and local contexts.
Anter Venus, Rector of UPNVJ in his opening remarks said that JICRISCD 2024 is a prestigious international agenda because it involves various countries and UPNVJ is proud to host it, "I think this is a very good and certainly prestigious activity, because this activity is international in nature which presents participants from various countries. And also besides that, it presents extraordinary speakers, such as: - Prof. Dr. Jomo Kwame Sundaram, Khazanah Research Institute, Malaysia, Dr. Óscar Ugarteche, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mexico, Fachru Nofrian, Ph.D, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, Indonesia and Dr. Agustinus Prasetyantoko, Atma Jaya Institute of Public Policy, Indonesia, "explained Venus
In line with that, Dian Wicaksih, Chairperson of the JICRISD 2024 Organizing Committee, also said that this activity is very useful because it has extraordinary outputs that aim to create innovative and sustainable solutions to address today's complex challenges, "Through the development of interdisciplinary collaborations, we aspire to create innovative and sustainable solutions to address complex challenges in an interconnected world with this activity. I encourage all participants to actively engage in discussions, share insights, and fully immerse themselves in this knowledge-rich environment. My sincere appreciation goes to the keynote speakers, session chairs, scientific reviewers, conference committee members, presenters, and participants from all over the world," he said.
