UPN "Veteran" Jakarta held a Flag Ceremony

Celebrating National Defense Day

The ceremony of hoisting the Red and White Flag in commemoration of National Defense Day at the Ceremony Field of the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University, Tuesday (19/12), went solemnly and smoothly.

As the supervisor of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Deputy Chancellor II ceremony, Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, entered the ceremony field at around 07.36 WIB, and the ceremony was led by the UPNVJ Student Regiment (Menwa).

In this ceremony, UPNVJ Deputy Chancellor II read the remarks of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, which basically invited all Indonesian people to always learn from the history of the Indonesian nation's struggle. The Republic of Indonesia can stand upright as a sovereign nation which cannot be separated from the spirit of Defending the Country from all the strength of the people.

UPNVJ Deputy Chancellor II also reminded all of us that our duty is to defend the country with the spirit of unity, hard work and our struggle together.
