UPNVJ Medicine Holds Asian Medical Student Exchange Program

AMSA_FK_UPNVJ_(2).JPG HumasUPNVJ - UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) Faculty of Medicine held an Asian Medical Student Exchange Program (AMSEP) with the theme Amitiè AMSEP Inbound Taiwan to Indonesia in the Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Faculty of Medicine (FK) UPNVJ, Monday (06/08/18).

This activity was attended by 8 participants from Taipei Medical University and UPNVJ as the host for the holding of the Asian Medical Student Association (AMSA). AMSA is an organization that represents medical students throughout Asia Pacific and beyond which was officially established in 1985 in Manila-Philippines by 9 founding members including Indonesia.

Thyra Annisa Putri UPNVJ Medical Student said "This activity is UPNVJ's first experience of Medicine being the host of AMSA and being able to beat tough competitors from several well-known universities in Indonesia. With this activity we can also increase our knowledge about their medical studies and find out about the medicines they use for health purposes and know the customs of their country," said Thyra Annisa when interviewed.

AMSA_FK_UPNVJ_(1).JPG In line with this, Esme who is a student from Taipei Medical University expressed her pleasure to be present at UPNVJ as her first experience in Indonesia. With this activity, Esme has the benefit of being able to add medical knowledge and build friendships with UPNVJ Medical Students.
