Syafira and Yordan Won the 2018 Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO) Award

HumasUPNVJ - Competing with 17 universities in ISMKI Region 2, namely the provinces of DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java and West Kalimantan, Syafira Nurfitri and Yordan Teofilus won awards in the 2018 Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO) as 3rd place in the Urogenital branch.

RMO 2018 is the largest medical Olympiad in ISMKI Region 2, there are 6 branches of competition namely Urogenital, Musculoskeletal, Neuropsychiatry, Cardiorespiratory, Digestive, and Tropical Infections. The 2015 Medical Students feel happy and proud to be able to bring the good name of the alma mater UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, "at first we did not expect that the process we had been doing so far would produce results and we are proud of ourselves, happy and very grateful to be able to contribute achievements and make the the good name of UPN Veteran Jakarta," said Syafira and Yordan.

In facing the 2018 RMO, Syafira and Yordan prepared carefully by studying, using time as effectively as possible and regular guidance from a mentor. They also plan to take part in the 2018 Indonesian Medical Olympiad hosted by Gadjah Mada University in Jogjakarta.

The Bandung-born and Palembang-born student thanked the advisors and BEM FKUPNVJ staff and friends who always supported, "We would like to thank dr. Vinny Verdini, Sp.U as our mentor who never stopped providing support and knowledge during this Olympics period. Thank you also to BEM FKUPNVJ, delegates from UPNVJ who participated in RMO from all branches, friends from KMFK especially class of 2015.
