HumasUPNVJ - On October 2, 2009 UNESCO confirmed Indonesian batik as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity . Currently, batik has become part of the daily life of the Indonesian people and has a variety of motifs according to the growing trend.

Along with commemorating National Batik Day, Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak., CPMA., CA as the Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta wishes you a happy National Batik Day which falls today (2 October 2018).

"UPN "Veteran" Jakarta as a state defense campus participates in preserving Indonesian culture, one of which is supporting Indonesian Batik Day."
