HMJ S1 Accounting Holds 2018 National Seminar on Accounting

The 2018 National Accounting Seminar entitled Tax Reform in the digital era which was held at the Bhineka Tunggal Ika Auditorium UPN "Veteran" Jakarta on Thursday, (1/11/18).

The event organized by HMJ_AKS1 was attended by a number of students from the Faculty of Business Economics UPN "Veteran" Jakarta and a number of representatives from various universities. As for acting as a speaker, namely the Director of International Taxation, Prof. Dr. Maruli Polytechnic John Liberty Hutagaol, M. Acc, M. Ec (Hons), SE. Ak. and Founder & CEO of Anomali, Tommy Nayoan.

According to Prof. Dr. Maruli Polytechnic events like this are very good because they can increase knowledge of accounting, especially in the field of taxation, "this is a very good event, because students can increase their knowledge in the field of accounting, especially in the field of taxation, both in terms of theory and what will be in the field later and besides that, we can indirectly introduce this university to the wider community.” he said

The head of the event, Annisa Desari, said that the purpose of this seminar was for UPN "Veteran" Jakarta students, especially the Faculty of Business Economics, to know more about tax reforms in the digital era, "we aim for students to know about tax reforms in the digital era when Moreover, fintech, technology, e-commerce have started to spread and expand, so we have to know about this, especially in the economic field. he explained

There were 300 participants who registered to take part in this event, but only 150 participants were able to take part in this seminar. The 2018 National Accounting Seminar is the fifth in a series of seven 2018 accrual activity agendas held by HMJ AKS1 students.
