HumasUPNVJ - The team from the Jakarta "Veteran" National Development University managed to win the 7th DKI Jakarta Provincial Student Sports Week, one of which was in the Tarung Degrees sport which was held on October 25-27 2018 at the Graha Wira Bakti Auditorium, Darma University Homeland.

There are five representatives from the UPNVJ Tarung Degrees sport, namely Andri Setiawan (Faculty of Law 2015, Gold, Free Fighting 58.1-61), Fadhil Ali Hakim (Legal Science 2015, Silver, Free Fighting 61.1-64, Naufal Reza Rahmadani (Fisip HI 2018, Bronze, Free Fight 50.1-54), Daniel Parlindungan (FIK TI 2016, Bronze, Free Fight 64.1-6, Reyhan Refliza B (Mechanical Engineering 2016, Bronze, Free Fight 67, 1- 70).

And 2 of them who have been successfully interviewed by UPNVJ public relations are Daniel Parlindungan FIK 2016 (Bronze) and Andri Setiawan FH 2015 (Gold). To take part in the student sports week this time, they did training for approximately 2 months and were trained directly by trainers who are already experts in their fields. Even though they are drained of a lot of energy and time and often experience minor injuries during practice, that doesn't make them give up but that's not an obstacle to giving the best results, they divide their time as much as possible between study and practice.

Even though they have won the championship in the Tarung Degrees field at the 7th POM DKI Province, Daniel and Andri are still not satisfied and still want to continue to make achievements.

There is a message that Andri and Daniel convey to their friends and juniors when they feel doubtful or down before a match, “Never think about who our opponents are, but remember our struggle so far to fight for what we hope for. Never give up on training."
