UPNVJ Public Relations - Wednesday, January 23 2019. The UPNVJ Community Service and Research Institute held the second day of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Faculty Research Master Plan Preparation activities which are still taking place on the 4th Floor of the UPNVJ Auditorium Building. The activity was attended by representatives of lecturers from each faculty.
The event was immediately opened by a presentation on the Preparation of a Research Master Plan from representatives of the Faculty of Medicine. In addition, the UPNVJ Public Relations Team also had the opportunity to conduct interviews with the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service, Dr. Retno Dyah Kusumastuti, MSi. In his interview session, he explained the purpose of holding this activity, was to make a strategic plan for working research funds. The hope is that UPN will have some kind of regional development, be it research or community service, and later it will be able to do community service. Because we as a state defense campus should be able to provide many benefits and improve people's welfare, especially in the closest location to us, namely Banten. I also hope that we can all take advantage of what is available, for example by creating an earthquake/tsunami detection application that is installed on fishing boats (unmanned) so that it can give signals to land when something happens so residents can be evacuated quickly.” he said
For this research, it will be started by collecting proposals first around mid-February and seminars will be held with speakers who are experts in their fields. The activity ended with a group photo.
