For the sake of Improving the Quality of Higher Education, UPNVJ Holds a Publication Management Workshop

UPNVJ Public Relations - In order to improve the quality and performance of HR performance, UPNVJ held an International/National Seminar Management Workshop, Journal Management and Publication Management which were attended by leaders, deans and representatives of lecturers from each UPNVJ faculty at the Aston Priority Hotel Jakarta, Monday (15/04/2019).

This activity began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Dr. Ermatita, M. Kom. In his remarks, he said "This workshop was held to improve the University's performance in terms of publications, and by doing good management, we will all get a positive impact and be able to improve performance within the UPNVJ environment. Moreover, we invite resource persons who are competent in their respective fields.” he said

After the remarks by the Dean of FIK, the event continued with remarks and opening remarks from the Chancellor of UPNVJ. He provided information to the participants who were present that in the near future, the Chancellor will issue an order for permanent lecturers to receive a doctoral scholarship program because for now UPNVJ really needs doctoral lecturers in order to improve university accreditation. Apart from that, he also hopes that "Hopefully the Vice Chancellors and the Deans can commit to advancing existing human resources and performance and supporting this activity so that we all get a positive impact, especially the lecturers in the UPNVJ environment." he said

The event continued with the presentation of material from three speakers, the first material was regarding Journal Management which was given by Dr. Deris Setiawan, S.Kom, MT, The second material regarding Publication Management provided by Prof. Dr. Siti Nurmaini, then continued with the third material on International/National Seminar Management by Dr. Reza Firsandaya Malik.

After giving material and discussion, it was followed by a sharing session from FIK, FISIP and FEB. The three faculty representatives provided a review of the International Conference they had held to other participants. Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Anter Venus representing the Chancellor gave directions so that other faculties could immediately hold an International Conference .
