Implementation of the first day of UTBK went smoothly with 1,970 participants.

UPNVJ Public Relations - Implementation of UTBK Batch 1 is underway at the UPNVJ UTBK center. UPN "Veteran" Jakarta has 7 test locations, namely: UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus I, UPNVJ Limo Campus II, SMKN 41 Jakarta, SMAN 66 Jakarta, SMAN 97 Jakarta, SMAN 46 Jakarta, and SMAN 70 Jakarta. The total number of participants was 1970 participants divided into 2 sessions, each of which totaled 985 participants.

There are several things that participants need to pay attention to in this year's UTBK process, including: Paying attention to the exam schedule which is held every Saturday and Sunday 10 times, the morning session starts at 07:30 and the afternoon session starts at 12:00, participants must be present 30 minutes before the exam starts, participants are asked to check again the location and room of the participants in taking the UTBK test, participants are required to bring participant identification cards, FC diplomas or certificates of sitting in class XII.

The UPNVJ Public Relations Team had the opportunity to conduct an interview with the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm as the coordinator of the UPNVJ UTBK center regarding the preparation and the obstacles encountered, in his interview he said, “As the first UTBK center, the UPNVJ team and I made quite a long preparation. Because of this UTBK activity we have absolutely no benchmarks, in the past the SBMPTN exam was only once while the UTBK implementation was held in 22 sessions. This is a big job, and it also requires a planned and systematic commitment. Of course the preparation must be integrated as a whole. What we have prepared, especially on the first day, we prepared the exam tools, including both internal and external networks. And there are several rooms that are in use, especially on the UPN Pondok Labu campus as many as 13 exam rooms. In addition, we prepare other aspects such as supporting information, announcements, location plans, important schedules and so on, not only supporting equipment and information, we also prepare human resources, for those in charge of the location, supervisors to room technicians. So that the first session went smoothly.”

Apart from that, according to him, there are no obstacles to face because everything has been prepared carefully. If there are technical problems, such as power outages or damage to equipment, UPNVJ has also prepared their respective reserves so that these problems do not become significant obstacles.

As the executive coordinator of the UPNVJ UTBK center, he hopes that everything will run smoothly. Hopefully the committee will have a genuine commitment and in accordance with expectations and hopefully the participants who take this exam can run smoothly and get satisfactory results.
