HumasUPNVJ - Following up on the audience of the Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta and the Regent of Serang last February, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta and the Serang Regency Government signed an MoU at the Serang Regent's office, Banten on Monday (09/04/19). The event was attended by the Chancellor and his staff along with the Regent of Serang and his staff.

The signing of the MoU was carried out directly by the Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Erna Hernawati and the Regent of Serang Ratu Tatu Chasanah. On this occasion the Chancellor said that UPNVJ is ready to assist the Serang Regency Government as an effort to improve the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service.

" UPNVJ's intention is to be here to be able to help with activities and programs that have been implemented or have just been planned by Serang Regency with the aim of increasing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Community Service," he said

The discussion that was carried out after signing this started from health programs, creative industries, and innovative in accordance with the digital 4.0 era as well as increasing MSMEs and spreading their sales.

“ UPNVJ is also ready to facilitate information technology (IT)-based village governance and development. Then there are many other programs that we can do to increase the HDI of Serang Regency, "added Erna Hernawati.

The Regent of Serang, Ratu Tatu Chasanah really appreciates the good intentions of UPNVJ in helping to improve the welfare of the people of Serang.

" Alhamdulillah, thanks to all parties for the implementation of this activity, for the beginning, we really have to map the potential and problems. We have to synergize, one of which is with universities including UPNVJ, "he said.

Tatu also added "I also hope UPNVJ will help development innovation to reduce unemployment, as well as increase MSMEs" he said.
