The Chancellor, who in this case was represented by the Vice Chancellor for academic affairs, Dr. Anter Venus said that this training was held to increase the level of professionalism of the lecturers of each faculty at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.

"We have to master academic ability and as lecturers we have to be competent in the field we teach. Because being a lecturer does not just stand up to give lectures and then finish it, but how do we become lecturers who have good quality in giving lectures. And my message is for all of us as educators, we need to educate ourselves first, "explained Dr. Anther Venus.

This PEKERTI activity is carried out in order to increase the level of professionalism possessed by lecturers and as a provision to face various changing times. For this reason, lecturers need to update the learning model so that it is not outdated, but can still convey material well.

The first material regarding Curriculum Development in Higher Education was given by Dr. Rusilanti M.Sc. and will be followed by the presentation of material on Higher Education Systems and Regulations by Dr. Riyadi, M.T.

This Pekerti activity is carried out until Friday, July 26 2019.
