HumasUPNVJ - Every 17th UPN "Veteran" Jakarta routinely holds a flag ceremony. The flag ceremony was held at the Ceremony Field in front of dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo (FK) UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The ceremony started at 07:30 WIB and went solemnly and smoothly. Dr. Ir. Halim Mahfud, M.Sc as Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation as Ceremony Coach, Irpan Ripa'i Sutowo, SE., M.Sc served as Ceremony Officer, Anwar Ilmar, S.Sos., MIP served as Ceremony Leader, Rima Andriani served as Host, student representative Siti Zahra Aurellia, Diva Alifia Febriana, Jielin Meliala served as Flag Raiser, Lukman Saleh Waluyo, S.Ikom., M.Si served as Reader of the 1945 Constitution, Ahmad Waldyazkia, SE served as Prayer Reading and Maria Dessideria Puji Setyoati served as Conductor. The flag ceremony this time was attended by 202 teaching staff, 440 education staff including the Vice Chancellors, Deans/Dir PPs, Head of Satker, and as many as 894 UPNVJ students. (17/9/19).
This ritual activity which is carried out regularly has a very important meaning and purpose, apart from being a reminder of the services and respect for the struggle of the NKRI fighters as well as one of the efforts to implement UPN "Veteran" Jakarta as a state defense campus.
In the UPNVJ Chancellor's message which was read by the Ceremonial Trustees conveying some information, such as the results of the 2019 Kemristekdikti Higher Education ranking which showed that UPN "Veteran" Jakarta was ranked 77th cluster 2 out of around 3000 Indonesian tertiary institutions, he conveyed "Criteria for ranking universities conducted Kemristekdikti, everything is related to the productivity of human resources in tertiary institutions. The ranking results are certainly a challenge for all of us to work harder and smarter.” Halim said
In addition to the matter regarding the ranking of Higher Education by the Ministry of Research and Technology, in the Rector's message it was also conveyed that on September 28, UPNVJ will hold Masters, Bachelors, Diploma and Professional Graduations.
Hopefully UPNVJ graduates can become graduates who are able to compete in the world of work in the future.
