Yudhi Nugraha, M.Biomed, PhD, a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine who is an alumni of NAIST and part of the KUI UPNVJ, said that this activity was a bridge for lecturers and students to create a research program at NAIST. there such as Special Recommendations , Masters and Doctoral programs and student programs where later health or medical students will spend 1 to 2 months making experiments and research experiences," said Yudhi when interviewed.
After this public lecture, later UPNVJ and NAIST will sign a collaboration in the field of research and human resources. The implementation will include Masters, Doctoral, Shortcourse and research collaboration programs at NAIST Japan.
"The initial mechanism is that several lecturers are expected to be able to access and find which laboratory is suitable for their respective research. Then, you can directly contact Prof. Masashi Kawaichi to be bridged with the intended professor. With continued communication, later the lecturer will carry out direct research at NAIST by using the facilities there for free and preparing a place to live for transportation costs, usually supported by Research and Technology," said Yudhi.
Yudhi also said that several programs were focused on lecturers "The program is more focused on lecturers because it is a bit difficult for students because there is indeed too high technology and other tools that are afraid that students will not be able to participate optimally and NAIST won an award in the field of Stem Cell, the technology and tools are sophisticated and rather difficult for students to follow. But we will make sure that the program can also be implemented by students, "he added.
The quota for this program cannot be determined now, for the doctoral selection it will be held for 2 weeks at NAIST and participants who apply will be invited there with a fee fully supported by NAIST. For 2 weeks the participants will see their experimental and research performance and then the final selection will be determined by the final trial.
Not only regarding the program, Yudhi also gave tips to students and lecturers so that their submissions could be followed by selection, namely establishing good communication. the point is that communication must be good, maybe from now on you can directly email the professor, because in Japan loyalty is the main thing, “he explained.
