LP3M UPNVJ Holds 2019 LSP Scheme Workshop

HumasUPNVJ - In facing the current era of globalization, and as a form of implementation of Law Number 12 of 2012 Concerning Higher Education, the UPN Veteran Jakarta Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Institute held a 2019 Professional Certification Institution Scheme Workshop for two days, Thursday (12 /12) until tomorrow, Friday (13/12) at the Unity in Diversity Auditorium UPNVJ.

LP3M presented the BNSP License Assessor, Mr. Ekodjatmiko and BNSP Competency Assessor, Mr. Dimas Andyan as a guest speaker. The LSP team from UPN Veterans East Java was also present.

The first event was opened by remarks and directions from the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Erna Hernawati. In his remarks he conveyed a number of things including regarding the number of LSP UPNVJ and competency standards, "LSP UPNVJ already has a number of 12 schemes and with this workshop activity can produce approximately 20 schemes". he said

"We as State Universities must prove that a degree can guarantee competency standards, hopefully the degree that UPNVJ provides can be in line with the competencies that our graduates have." Close it

The activity continued with the provision of material regarding the Discussion of the Preparation and Addition of Schemes by the BNSP License Assessor, Dr. drg Ekodjatmiko. In his presentation he conveyed a number of things including regarding Strategic Issues which include Existing Conditions, Employment, Demographic Bonuses, MEA, Industry 4.0, and discussed Competency Certificates, "Competency certificates are legal products that become legitimacy (recognition) for the achievement of a person's ability to do work determined by the competent authority, based on competency standards that have been agreed upon and determined”. In addition, the BNSP Competency Assessor, Mr. Dimas Andyan explained many things and focused on the background of the scheme prepared and the junior graphic designer certification scheme, "This scheme was prepared as a step in facing the era of globalization (MEA and WTO) and as a form of implementation of Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education , and Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System”.
