HumasUPNVJ - In order to increase understanding of the role and challenges of Indonesian medicine in realizing national defense in the 4.0 era, the Faculty of Medicine UPN Veterans Jakarta is holding a National Seminar on Medical Research (SENSORIK) which is held at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Hall, Lt. 4 Gd. UPNVJ Rectorate, Friday 21/02/20.
The activity was opened by dr. Rika Refina as the chief executive, in her speech she explained about several series of events in this seminar, "SENSORIC activities were carried out in 2 series of events, the first Call For Paper related to medicine and health, which was held last week on Monday the 10th February 2020, involving 55 participants who were students from the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine and other outside agencies, such as the BALITBANGKES (Health Research and Development Agency). During last week's activity, oral presentations were made to all submitted papers and the best poster was also selected. I also need to say, that all submitted papers will be published in the form of proceedings with ISBN and e-ISBN, some will also be published in the Medical Profession Journal FK UPNVJ which is accredited SINTA 3 and we are also working with the Journal of Medicine and Health from UMJ with accreditation SINTA 4”. Rika also hopes that this SENSORIK activity will run periodically, "We really hope that SENSORIK activities for the following years will continue in order to increase the quantity and quality of publications and to increase cooperation in the medical field, especially in realizing national defense." The Chancellor of UPNVJ, Erna Hernawati, in her remarks also hoped that more and more seminars like this would be held by FK UPNVJ, "I salute and give great appreciation to FK students because they are able to manage an activity like this. I hope that in the future I can be more active in organizing an event, because I see a lot of potential from all of you, so that apart from being a doctor who is qualified in his duties, you also have soft skills/ talents and abilities beyond that. The material provided in this seminar is very useful for all of us, not only for students but for all UPNVJ academics." he said
SENSORIK FK UPNVJ was attended by 250 participants and presented four speakers at once which were divided into two sessions, the first session was filled by Prof. Frans Santosa and dr. Ria Maria Theresa. For the second session filled by Dr. dr. Prijo Sidipratomo and dr. Pukovisa, Sp.S.
