HumasUPNVJ - As an effort to prevent the covid-19 virus in the UPN Veteran Jakarta environment, starting this morning Monday, March 16 2020 the Chancellor and his staff ordered all guests and employees to take body temperature measurements before entering the campus environment.
This is done to ensure that guests and academics who enter the UPN Veterans Jakarta environment have a body temperature of less than 37.5 degrees Celsius.
Since this morning at 06.30 WIB, officers wearing masks have taken body temperature measurements of all guests and academics who wish to enter the UPN Veteran Jakarta environment. This activity was carried out at several points, especially at the entrance on the Pondok Labu campus and in the Limo.
" Alhamdulillah, so far at 08.15 WIB it has been observed that those who enter the campus environment have a normal body temperature. This is one form of prevention of the spread of the Covid-19 virus that we are doing. Not only this, we have also processed for the availability of hand sanitizers at several points on the Pondok Labu campus and the Limo campus, "said Vice Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance Prasetyo Hadi when interviewed.
Prof. Dr. Bambang Waluyo, a lecturer at the UPNVJ Faculty of Law, welcomed this body temperature measurement activity. He revealed, this is a form of attention from the leaders for us UPNVJ academics and hopefully with this good step we will be protected and protected from the epidemic that is currently developing.
The Chancellor also said that this activity was an implementation and prevention effort related to the spread of the Covid-19 virus. He also appealed to students who are currently undergoing distance learning as well as all academics who are still active to maintain health, cleanliness and implement the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) in accordance with recommendations from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
