HumasUPNVJ - Indonesia's New Generation (GenBI) is a forum for scholarship recipients to hone various kinds of intelligence, optimize various talents and leadership potential for female students in Indonesia. In order to increase the understanding of UPNVJ students regarding the GenBI scholarship, Bank Indonesia in collaboration with Shopee Pay and Bank Bukopin held an Socialization of the Indonesian New Generation Scholarship which was attended by 150 participants at the Garuda Gd Auditorium. The activity was opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Drs. Munasiron Miftah representing the Chancellor, "Thank you to Bank Indonesia, Bank Danamon and Shopee Pay for being here. It should be noted that FEB UPNVJ has entered its third year of receiving scholarships from Bank Indonesia, in previous years this scholarship was only given to FEB but for now, there are three faculties including the Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Computer Science and Faculty of Law. Next, it can be carried out in its entirety to all faculties within the UPNVJ environment. Those who receive scholarships will later be referred to as Genbi students, they will actively participate in all Bank Indonesia activities, we on campus will always support these activities. I also hope that UPNVJ can work together with each other ”. Munasiron explained in his speech.
Meanwhile, Jaka Setiawan as a representative from Bank Indonesia in his speech conveyed several things regarding the socialization that was held today, "We have organized this activity in various areas around Jakarta, we are also grateful to UPNVJ for receiving us so well that events like this can be well organised. In his remarks, Jaka Setiawan also explained about the Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard (QRIS), which is a payment standardization using the QR Code method from Bank Indonesia.
The activity continued with the presentation of material from several speakers present, including Fadli Hafizan as a Shopee Pay Business Development Associate and One Yusril Fikar as the Policy Coordinator of Bank Indonesia Jakarta and continued with a discussion session.
