Public Relations Team – Rector of UPNVJ inaugurated and took-oath of 23 new civil servants as for 2019 admissions at Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, UPNVJ on Wednesday  (08/05/20).

As the inauguration details, there are 21 new civil servants in the position of Expert Assistant Lecturer and 2 new civil servants will be placed as Educational Staff  for the 2019 admissions.

According to Erna Hernawati, the Rector of UPNVJ, inaugurated Civil Servants whose chosen UPNVJ as for their service are the right decision, this is because UPNVJ is a new Public University where competition for human resources is not so tight that it has a great opportunity to gain experience and achieve as much achievement as possible.

“You chose UPNVJ when the CPNS (candidates for civil servant recruitment) selection process was the right choice, I say right because UPNVJ is a new Public University where you can have a great opportunity to develop yourself and show your work and achievements while in the same time the competition between one and another not so tight "said the Rector in her speech.

Rector also reminded the lecturers, that the current position of being an expert assistant lecturer is not a permanent position, lecturers currently have a lot of demands to work and develop so that they can achieve more, in this case obtain a better position.

"We have a target that must be done together, indirectly you will be demanded not only to stay in the same position, but it is demanded to develop yourself and improve your quality, and it supposedly you will achieve more and obtain a better position and ranks" said the Rector.

Rector also suggested that lecturers who have not achieved a doctoral degree to immediately making plan to take a doctoral degree.

"I suggest to take doctoral degree because by looking at rapid shifting demands of education internationally. We have to looking towards UPNVJ’s vision for the future, because of the demands for education has change, we must focus on international education, "said the Rector.

On her occasion, the Rector also advised to 23 new civil servants who were inaugurated to understand the vision and mission of UPNVJ and could foster a sense of devotion, with the sense of devotion, we could voluntarily solve several problematic issues without waiting for other to do so.

“I need people who have concrete efforts to solve problems, by fulfilling the target, great work results and achieved more as well as not easily complaining. Because we currently need you as young workers to achieve the vision that has been determined by the Ministry of Education and Culture” explained the Rector.

At the end of her speech, Rector said, "I congratulate you and start from today, you have a big responsibility as a Civil Servant. Congratulations on working for yourself, your family and of course for UPN Veteran Jakarta.” She closed.
