Preparation for Industrial Engineering Collaboration between UPNVJ and Industrial Engineering Higher Education Organizing Cooperation Agency

Public Relations Team - The purpose of the establishment of BKSTI (Industrial Engineering Higher Education Organizing Cooperation Agency) is to strengthen and improve the quality and relevance of Industrial Engineering higher education in Indonesia, to accommodate and to seek solutions for any problem issues in the implementation of Industrial Engineering in higher education level, to maintain cooperation between BKSTI members in information exchange and education implementation, to do research and community service as well as being a partner of the Directorate General of Higher Education and other stakeholders in the field of higher education in Industrial Engineering. Therefore, the Faculty of Engineering UPN Veteran Jakarta and BKSTI was planned to have some cooperation and collaboration in several aspects. This cooperation was concluded on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. This preparatory meeting was attended by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Ir. I Made Dana Tangkas, M.Si, IPU (Chairman of BKSTI), Mr. Eden Gunawan (Secretary General of BKSTI), Mr. Junianto (Director Executive), Vice Dean I, Vice Dean II, Vice Dean III, Head of Industrial Engineering Study Program, Secretary of Industrial Engineering Study Program, and The Heads of Lab. The activity was opened by the Head of Industrial Engineering Study Program.

In his presentation, Made Dana Tangkas explained, "I appreciate the cooperation between BKSTI and Faculty of Engineering UPNVJ to facilitate Lecturers and Students, especially the MOU in industrial project in the potential industry in the Banten region. Therefore, the realization will be realized immediately. The goal is to build networking”. He explained.

In the discussion, Reda Rizal as the Dean of Faculty of Engineering said, "It could also be focused on Green Tematense to develop Faculty of Engineering in the material sector, such as my research to replace styrofoam with banana logs. This idea was appreciated by Mr. Made, so it could be followed up on materials sourced from fossil resources”. Said Reda.
