HumasUPNVJ - Launching the education.kompas.com page not long ago, Mas Minister (as Mendikbud Nadiem Makarim) again launched a policy entitled Independent Campus. This time, there are four adjustments in the scope of higher education. One of them in the third policy is related to the freedom of State Universities (PTN) Public Service Agencies (BLU) and Work Units (Satker) to become PTN Legal Entities (PTN BH). The Ministry of Education and Culture will simplify the requirements for PTN BLU and Satker to become PTN BH without being bound by accreditation status.
With this new policy, UPN Veteran Jakarta is preparing to become a Public Service Agency Financial Management (PK-BLU). This refers to the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 74 of 2002 concerning Management of Public Service Agencies.
The Public Service Agency (BLU) is an agency within the government that was formed to provide services to the community in the form of supplying goods and/or services that are sold without prioritizing profit and in carrying out its activities based on the principles of efficiency and productivity.
In order to speed up the process, UPN Veteran Jakarta held technical guidance on the preparation of PK-BLU documents on Thursday (1/10/2020) at Nusantara Room 1, UPNVJ Rectorate Building.
On this occasion the Ministry of Education and Culture sent 10 participants to guide UPNVJ in preparing documents consisting of proposal documents, governance pattern documents, financial report documents, minimum service standard documents and business strategic plan documents.
In this case, UPN Veterans Jakarta Chancellor Erna Hernawati conveyed the BLU preparations that had been carried out by UPNVJ.
"There were still doubts about the BLU plan, but when the minister of the Ministry of Education and Culture pushed for BLU, we have been running for the last 6 months, because we have been assisted by a review so that we can immediately make improvements so that targets can be completed quickly. If after we have revised it so that the Ministry of Education and Culture team can review it again so that it is perfect, "said the chancellor.
Ferdian Amran, Head of the Treasury and Financing Section of the Finance Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education and Culture said that the Minister of Education and Culture had encouraged PTNs to immediately go to PK-BLU. He also encouraged UPNVJ to apply to become PK-BLU this year.
Previously, UPNVJ had sent all the documents needed as a condition for submitting PK-BLU.
"The UPNVJ PK-BLU Business Strategy Plan document is quite good and can be used as a role model." Said Ferdinand.
Meanwhile, UPNVJ Chancellor Erna Hernawati said that the preparation of the PK-BLU document and plan had been focused since the last 6 months.
"Because it has been assisted by a review so that it can immediately make improvements so that the target can be quickly achieved. If after we have revised it so that the Ministry of Education and Culture team can review it again so that it is perfect, "he concluded.
