UPNVJ D3 Accounting Students Distribute Basic Food Aid to the Community

HumasUPNVJ - The Covid-19 pandemic has not only brought about public health problems, but also has social and economic implications.

As a form of concern for D3 Accounting students at UPN Veterans Jakarta, especially the D3 Accounting Student Association) HIMADA in commemoration of the 22nd Anniversary by opening donations to the public and distributing groceries for underprivileged people in the Kampung Sawah Pondok Labu area and the UPNVJ environment, on Wednesday (23/ 12/20).

"These students previously opened donations that were open to the public for anyone who wanted to donate in the form of money or groceries and there were also HIMADA alumni themselves who made donations and active D3 Accounting students also donated," said Muhammad Rafi Sabil, D3 student. Accounting in its report to the public relations team.

Rafi also said that previously they had distributed social assistance to underprivileged and needy people in Kampung Sawah Pondok Labu as many as 100 people. Social assistance was provided in the form of rice, oil, instant noodles, sardines, masks and hand sanitizers as well as several used clothes which were donated to the village.

Not only in one location, the students also allocated assistance to the Office Boy and Security Guard staff at UPNVJ in the form of instant noodles, sardines, oil, coffee and masks.

With this assistance, it is hoped that it will help ease the burden on people with a low economy a little, and inspire other students to continue working together to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
