UPNVJ Faculty of Social Sciences Holds Socialization of AMATI Indonesia Program to Support MBKM

HumasUPNVJ - FISIP UPN Veteran Jakarta held a virtual Socialization of the AMATI Program via the Zoom video conference platform on Friday (22/1) yesterday. The socialization aimed at supervising lecturers and 8th semester FISIP students is expected to be able to assist students in finding internships in relation to the MBKM or Independent Learning - Independent Campus program. AMATI Indonesia (Invitation to Productive Indonesian Students) itself is a collective movement as a forum for collaboration between students and Social Entrepreneurs in supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Learning Campus through innovation in the development of social entrepreneurship that has a positive impact on the environment, as well as spreading the 3P (Profit, People, Profit) principle. .

Appearing as a guest speaker, Mr. Viringga and the founder of AMATI Indonesia explained several career opportunities that will be obtained after completing an internship with AMATI, including working at UMKM, working at AMATI Partners, starting a new business, and working within AMATI Indonesia. The registration process and the duration of the apprenticeship only takes about 4 months, but if students wish to gain more apprenticeship experience, AMATI is ready to facilitate students for a longer apprenticeship.

The scope of the Indonesian AMATI Movement is quite broad, consisting of apprenticeships/work practices, teaching assistants in education units, entrepreneurial activities, and building villages. After students are registered as interns at AMATI Indonesia, students will be given a webinar to get a more detailed explanation regarding the field they wish to choose. Furthermore, from the webinar, students will form teams and get virtual team briefing. Students should not hesitate to choose an internship place, because AMATI Indonesia collaborates with 800 social enterprises in Indonesia.

Apart from explaining about AMATI Indonesia, Mr. Viringga also explained to students several potential jobs in the future, including work as a social entrepreneur, data analyst, digital & content marketing , as well as a YouTuber and influencer.
