HumasUPNVJ - On Monday, February 1 2021, UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) again held the Inauguration and Oath of Civil Servants (PNS) Class of 2019 at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, UPNVJ.

UPNVJ Chancellor Erna Hernawati appointed 38 civil servants directly while prioritizing the Covid-19 health protocol by sharing two media, both in person for the inaugurated civil servants and online for other academics.

"The inauguration and oath of office have been carried out, meaning that today you have officially become a civil servant of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Previously, a briefing was carried out by the vice-chancellor for general and financial fields to provide an overview of the functions, tasks and commitments that will be carried out in the future," said the chancellor in his remarks.

According to the chancellor, the oath that has been taken is not only for oneself and the institution but also a commitment to God Almighty which must always be carried out as best as possible.

"It feels that with civil servants with all the commitments that have been sworn in earlier, if they are carried out as well as possible, UPNVJ will definitely get significant changes, prioritizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education," he said.

"The current condition of UPN with PTN status which is 7 years old is still relatively young compared to other PTNs and the hope is to continue to prioritize providing excellent service, especially to students, this is a joint task to provide maximum satisfaction to students."

UPNVJ as a new PTN is experiencing a transition process that is not easy, with this 38 civil servants are expected to make a contribution and provide new enthusiasm at the beginning of the year for UPNVJ's changes to be better, especially in the field of student and partner services.

"2021 is the time for ladies and gentlemen to move fast, because the spearhead of the success of PTN lies with the lecturers. I hope the lecturers will continue to develop themselves from the opportunities and opportunities that exist, all opportunities are wide open for research and other things related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education" he said.
