Prepare Face-to-Face Lectures, UPNVJ Provides GeNose Test Services

HumasUPNVJ - Responding to the Ministry of Education and Culture's new policy regarding face-to-face lectures for the 2020/2021 Academic Year, UPN Veteran Jakarta made preparations by providing an early detection facility for the Covid-19 virus made by Gadjah Mada University (UGM) called GeNose C19.

"GeNose was held to anticipate the spread of the Covid -19 virus in the UPN Veterans Jakarta environment, and is provided in preparation for offline or face-to-face lectures which, if possible, will be held in the odd semester next September," said UPN Veterans Jakarta Chancellor Erna Hernawati in directing the use of GeNose in the building. UPNVJ Rectorate, on Tuesday (30/03/21).

Based on the Kemendikbud.go.id website, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) emphasized that permits for face-to-face learning activities in tertiary institutions and polytechnics/community academies in the 2020/2021 Academic Year can be carried out in a mixed (hybrid learning), online, and face to face, with strict health protocols.

on the Kemendikbud.go.id page also explains this refers to the Joint Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud), Minister of Religion (Menag), Minister of Health (Menkes), and Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) concerning Guidelines for Implementation of Learning in the Academic Year 2020/2021 and 2020/2021 Academic Year during the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) Pandemic.

Information circulating, face-to-face learning will later be carried out in a rotation system in which only around 50% of students enter and the rest do online learning and learning is carried out by implementing strict health protocols.
